Light & Sound & Vladimir Tarasov offers an array of items for use and pleasure appropriate to the current season. The theme of the exhibition is reflected in all the works; a lamp, candlesticks, soundscapes and sculptures, the star at the top of the Christmas Tree, the depiction of light in a painting etc.
Light & Sound & Vladimir Tarasov brings together the work of members of the Fiskars Arts and Crafts Collective with those of guest artist Vladimir Tarasov, a well-known musician and visual artist who has collaborated frequently with artists such as Russia’s Ilya Kabakov and the American Sarah Flohr. Inside Out The opening festivities culminate with Hanne Horte’s and Julian Garner’s light and sound spectacle (www.culturamobila.com), 101 Santa Claus and the Green, Green Man, featuring lantern procession, giant puppets, fire sculpture, live music and theatre performances. The event, created in collaboration with local schools and members of the community, is financially supported by Svenska Kulturfonden and EU. It begins at 18.00.
