Taste & form
13 May – 30 Sep 2012 Granary, Fiskars

The time-honoured Granary at Fiskars originally stored grain. This summer it will display inspiring design on all its three floors, featuring the objects and spaces, everyday aspects and special occasions of culinary culture. Statements, table-settings, cookware, sustainable development and visual art.

The exhibition begins on the bridge leading into the Granary. Inside, visitors will encounter experiences, spaces and concepts of different kinds, products and special events.

Taste & Form will include special additional events, such as Bistro on the ground floor, theme days devoted to tea and coffee, products and an apple-pressing facility.

List of the additional events.

At Fiskars, even baked goods are design products. The picnic basket on sale is of local design, and visitors can fill it and enjoy the fare in the unique setting of Fiskars village.
