Simple Life 2008 |

New technologies have made the world in all its complexity increasingly available to us. Or are we losing ourselves in abundance? How do we recognize things that are meaningful? How to find more than we know to seek? Simple Life 2008 is an exhibition presenting the positions of artists regarding the phenomena of our times. They reflect, take stands, represent what our environment looks like today, and tell of different choices by individuals. It is the third of a series of extensive showings of Finnish art at Fiskars (previous exhibitions: Unique 2002, Labyrinth 2005).
